Matchy Matchy!

So I recently read that Kourtney Kardashian likes to coordinate the outfits of her son to herself. I am intrigued. Now, I love matching. I feel happy when things match, on me and on my children. I will often coordinate my two children's outfits. The other day they both had khaki shorts and white tee shirts on and looked quite fresh and adorable. Sometimes I will put them both in striped shirts and jeans, but in different colors. Recently I have noticed that my daughter likes to dress similar to me, which is why I am intrigued by matching myself to my daughter. Now I am not talking about matching red jumpers or Christmas themed sweaters! If I am in a black skirt and a top and Molly has a similar outfit I do like the idea of having us coordinate together. What do you think about coordinating children's outfits to your own?

High School Reunions...

So my husband's 15 year high school reunion is coming up in Auguust and we plan on flying up to attend it. The invitation says "casual attire" and the event is held at a restaurant at 7pm. I am confused as to how dressy I should get as I don't want to be either overdressed or underdressed. My gut tells me that this is either a cute dress and heels event or a sparkly top, dark jeans and heels event. What do you think an appropriate outfit would be?
